For this particular challenge, we were asked to reveal something about ourselves that we had never revealed before. My team went to the “Potrero del Sol” park near our house and sat in a circle under the sun. We wanted to create a favorable atmosphere for this specific challenge because it might be challenging for some to be so open with others.
It was a really intense experience because we shared things with each other that we rarely talk about or that few people know about us. It really helped me see the other fellows as multi-dimensional/facetted people – during the first couple of days, everybody wants to present themselves from their “best” side when meeting a group of new people. This helped me see beyond that, by listening to some of the fears or past stories of the other fellows. The feedback was also very positive and questions were asked as well, so I would definitely consider this challenge a success.
